To enter the competition, you must:

• Be an Australian resident aged 16 years or over Be  an Australian citizen or permanent resident with an Australian residential address and an Australian mobile phone number
• Not be an Ineligible Entrant as set out below.

• Employees and contractors of the promoter and immediate family members of employees and contractors
• Employees and contractors of the agencies or companies associated with the competition.

During the Competition Period, the Entrant must

• Successfully join Ubank as a new customer, by downloading the Ubank App and opening a Spend, Save and Bills account using the promotional code RUBE30 during the Competition Period and keep at least their Spend account open until the date of the Prize Draw.
• Incomplete or ineligible sign ups or those not using the RUBE30 promotional code will not be eligible for the draw.

(the “Entry Method”)

The competition starts on 1 March 2025 at 12:01am (Sydney) time and ends on 31 March 2025 at 11:59pm (Sydney) time (the “Competition Period”).

Winners will be selected at random using a random electronic draw system.

The first 150 Eligible Entrants selected will each win one (1) prize.

There are 150 prizes in total to be won.

Each winner will receive one (1) prize – an exclusive Ubank & Ruby Pedder Limited Edition prize pack containing x1 Cap and x1 Silk Shirt (the “Prize”).

Note: Caps are one size fits most. Silk shirts come in S, M and L sizes, Whilst the promoter will try to honour a winner’s size preferences, as there are limited silk shirts available, preferred sizing is not guaranteed.

Prizes will be mailed to Winners using the mailing address details registered to their Ubank account.

Winners will be contacted prior to prizes being sent to determine their preferred silk shirt sizing (however, due to limited stock, a different size may be provided in the prize pack).

If a Prize Pack is returned as undeliverable (including, for example, where the prize pack is held at a post office for collection and returned as it was not collected within the specified time), and the Promoter’s reasonable attempts to redeliver the Prize prior to Unclaimed Prize draw date are unsuccessful, the Prize will be forfeited.

The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage to the Prize during delivery.

Winners will be notified between 1st – 8th April 2025 by phone and email.

Winners last name, first initial and postcode will be published on ubank.com.au by 01/05/2025.

No, there is no entry fee.

If there are any unclaimed prizes, we will conduct a redraw to allocate those prizes. All entries for the original draw, other that the Winners of the original draw, will be included in the redraw. This will occur on 2 July 2025 at the same time of day and place, and using the same method, as the original draw (the “Unclaimed Prize Draw”).

If a Winner is selected via an Unclaimed Prize Draw they will be notified by 7 July 2025 by phone and/or email, and their details will be published on ubank.com.au no later than 7 August 2025.

General

• These Conditions of Entry must be read together with the Competition Details. By entering, entrants accept these conditions.

Eligibility 

• Entry is open to residents of the Applicable States or Territories who comply with the Entry Requirements (if any). Entries submitted by Ineligible Entrants are not accepted. If entry is permitted to persons under 18, those entrants must first obtain consent of their parent or guardian.
• The competition will be run during the Competition Period. Entries received after the Competition Period will not count towards the Competition. The Promoter is not responsible for any late, lost or misdirected entries.

Entry

• To enter, entrants must follow the Entry Method. Entrants may only submit up to the Maximum Number of Entries.
• The Promoter reserves the right to reject an Entry if it reasonably forms the opinion that an Entry has been created and/or submitted using automated entry means or a computer entry service.

Prize Draw 

• All valid entries received will be entered into the draw and the winner will be drawn as set out in the Competition Detail. Unless otherwise stated, Prize Draws will be conducted at the Promoter’s premises.

Winner

• The Winner(s) will be notified in accordance with the Competition Details.
• The Winner(s) must claim the Prize within the Claim Period. The Promoter will not be responsible for any delay, loss or damage to the Prize once it has left the Promoter’s or supplier’s premises.
• The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter also reserves the rights not to deliver the Prize to a Winner where delivering/providing a prize to the Winner would cause the Promotor to breach or likely to breach of any Australian law.
• If the Winner is unable to comply with these Terms and Conditions and/or does not claim the Prize within the Claim Period, the Winner will forfeit the Prize, and the Promoter will conduct an Unclaimed Prize Draw in accordance with the Competition Details to determine a substitute Winner, and award the Prize accordingly.
• Winners will be notified, and their names published, as described in the Competition Details.

Prize

• The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If a winner does not take a part of the Prize at the time set by the Promoter, the winner will forfeit that part.
• The value of the Prize is the recommended retail price as provided by the supplier (inclusive of GST) and is correct as at the start of the Competition. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for changes in Prize value.
• If a Prize is unavailable, the Promoter will substitute it for one of equal or greater value.
• The Promoter does not warrant and makes no representations that any Prize will be fit for any purpose or will be of merchantable quality. If liability under any terms implied at law cannot be excluded, the liability of the Promoter and its associated agencies is limited to the re-supply of the Prize or the cost of its re-supply.
• The Promotor accepts no responsibility for the tax implications of Prize winnings. Winners should obtain independent tax advice to determine how this may affect their circumstances.

Risk and liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its related bodies corporate and the suppliers, agencies and other companies involved in this Competition assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, or loss or damage to data.
• If this Competition is not capable of running as planned for any reason (including as a result of technical failures, fraud or causes beyond the Promoter’s control), the Promoter may, in its sole discretion, cancel, suspend or change the Competition and re-commence it on similar terms, subject to any directions by regulatory authorities.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its related bodies corporate and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents exclude liability for all loss (including loss of data, unauthorised access to data and consequential loss), damage, expenses, death or personal injury suffered or incurred arising out of, or in connection with, this Competition (including in relation to the Winner’s participation in this Competition and use of the Prize).

Other

• Any disputes regarding this competition or the claiming of a Prize should be promptly raised with the Promoter, in writing, using the contact details set out in these terms. The Promoter will consider the merits of the dispute in good faith, and where a dispute is considered valid, will take reasonable steps to address the issue raised.
